Our scrip program helps to raise funds for our school foundation.  “Scrip” is our fundraising program that works while you shop.  Scrip simply means “substitute money” – in other words, scrip is gift certificates from national and local retailers.  They’re the same gift certificates that you buy at the store, and many popular retailers participate in our scrip. 

You can use scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, gas and other essentials; and with every purchase, you earn revenue for CEEF.

You’re probably asking yourself how these stores help us raise money.  It’s simple – GL Scrip participating retailers agree to sell gift certificates to our school at a discount.  Supporters like you purchase the gift certificates at full face value, and the rebate percentages are used to help support the programs funded by CEEF.

The beauty of scrip is that you put your regular household shopping dollars to work and you help earn money for our school.  Just spend your regular shopping dollars with scrip at stores that participate in the scrip program! Scrip can be used for just about any household purchase, i.e., food, clothing, entertainment, gas and dining out.  Some of the local retailers are:  Stater Bros, WalMart, Sam’s Club, Arco, Chevron, CVS, Mimi’s Café, Best Buy, Home Depot, and many more.  Don’t forget those birthday, anniversary, teacher(s) and holiday gifts.
