Dear ABC Families:
This is Dr. Colin Sprigg, Director of Information and Technology,
As a result of ABC's current school closures that are in effect, all students will begin ABC's Online Learning at Home program on Thursday, March 19. The School District has determined that approximately 5% of ABC students do not have Internet service or a computer device at home. ABC's Online Learning at Home program requires that each student have access to basic Internet, and a computer device, laptop, Chromebook, or iPad.
We are asking our families two questions:
Do you have basic Internet service at home?
Do you have a computer device for your students to use at home?
For families that do not have these resources, ABC schools will provide temporary Internet service and temporary access to a computer for online learning at home. You may come to your student's school on Wednesday, March 18, or Thursday, March 19, between the hours 10 AM and 12 PM to check out these resources for online learning at home. The check out process will occur out of each schools' Library.
Again, come to your student's school on Wednesday, March 18, or Thursday, March 19, between 10 AM and 12 PM, to check out the Internet and a computer for online learning at home. These school resources are for temporary use for families that do not have Internet Service and/or a computer at home, during this period of school closures. ABC's Online Learning at Home Program begins for all students on Thursday, March 19.
Thank you
